On October 15-16, 2019, the Asia Committee chaired by Susanne Leone and the India Subcommittee hosted a delegation from India, consisting of lawyers and law students in Miami. The purpose of this program was to provide an interactive platform for the Indian delegates and members of the Miami legal community to exchange insights and ideas on various legal issues that impact cross-border transactions and disputes and provide an opportunity for all participants to make meaningful networking connections.

On the first day of the program, the Indian delegates had the opportunity to discuss practitioner insights on trade and investment law, and international arbitration.
The program was indeed a successful one where the participants were able to exchange ideas and information and make meaningful connections. The India Subcommittee is organized under the Asia Committee of the Florida Bar’s International Law Section. The program was organized by the India Subcommittee and the Asia Committee in conjunction with the Indian National Association of Legal Professionals (INALP).
